Prostar Cracking Agent Facture Mechanism

Prostar SCA is powdered material with which is a composition of inorganic compounds and organic compounds and which can produce high expansive pressure.The color of Prostar is gray black and look like cement which is not inflammable and explosive dangerous goods,and the transport and storage are free from the restriction of the Public Order Ordinance.This material, which do not have any effect on health and safety,is a safe demolition agent.

SCA's production process is same as the production of cement, which grind the limestone and other raw materials into a special chemical composition of raw materials, and then to calcine the raw materials into clinker with the high temperature of 1400-1450 ℃ as expected, in this conditions to grind it into SCA with the addition of other chemicals.

China Building Materials Science Research Institute successfully developed the Soundless Cracking Agent in 1983, and pass the appraisal of the National Identification Bureau of the building materials industry of the ministerial level. After a decade of production and applications, Prostar SCA began to set down the "Soundless Cracking Agent" industry-standard of building materials--JC 506-92 in 1992, the main technical performance standards as follows:

2.    Setting time:initial set﹥10min, final set﹤150min

3.    Expansive Pressure: Period of expansion of the zero pressure shall not be less than Table 16

The company continuously improve the quality of SCA,which had produced for 45 ~ 80mm large-diameter drill hole and the high-efficient SCA suitable for the temperature of 40 ~ 60 ℃. the performance is higher than similar products in Japan. Prostar SCA is factory Packaging products (bag 5kg) which has passed rigorous performance testing.Prostar SCAb is different The preparation of static demolition agent of other company t in the performance of production processes, which is easy to Blown-out shut, and even do harm to pepople, expansion effect inadequate, the broken effect are not as good as Prostar SCA.

Prostar SCA mixed with water, and poured into the drilling hole of rock or concrete , they started to emerge the hydration-reaction to form Ca(OH)₂ and the Aft hydrate crystallization with the expansive capability, its volume increased 3 ~ 5 times. However, SCA reaction has been restricted by the around the media in the drilling, it can generate the expansion of 30.0 ~ 50.0Mpa pressure, the pressure are increasing with time, it can be inflated off when the expansion of compressive stress over the tensile strength of broken objects . Tensile strength is 4.0 ~ 10.0Mpa for the general rock, 2.0 ~ 4.0Mpa for concrete. Prostar SCA can broken rock and concrete in that it can generate expansive pressure that are acting on the wall of the hole, which are much higher than the tensile strength of rocks and concrete. Therefore, The facture mechanism ofSCA is the solid expansion,however the traditional explosives and combustion are belong to the gas expansion in the role of cracking.The expansion pressure of SCA are much smaller than the explosive, so, The exerting pressure of SCA on the hole wall is low, slow-loading process. By the  process of cracking occurred, consistent and crack extended and spread to the whole rock and concrete to the end of breaking off. Therefore, the safety of SCA, also known as Non-explosive demolition agent without harm and danger to pepole, this means also known as static broken method.

SCA do not result in the shock wave, the usuage in mining can produce more precious and useful stone blocks, in the operation of security and expected extraction, which is its greatest strength.

Expansive pressure of Prostar by SCA are restricted to the temperature, therefore, users should select the suitable types of SCA according to the temperature of working site.

The Cracking effect of Prostar SCA are based on the weather conditions of temperature, dosage weight and mechanical properties and structures of broken objects, the general cracking emerged within 6 ~ 24h.
